About Michael and Jon Wolf

Michael and Jonathan Wolf paint independently in Los Angeles and San Francisco respectively. Their oil paintings show they share the same passion as well as similar color palettes. Both Artists have been greatly influenced by regional painters such as Edward Hopper and Thomas Hart Benton. They consider Van Gogh and Monet to be unequalled. Their art hangs in the private collections of Brad Pitt, Jack Nicholson, and Lara Flynn Boyle. Their Paintings hang in Restaurants, Night Clubs, Lounges and Galleries in Chicago, Kansas City, Seattle and Austin.

Many of Mike Wolf's paintings are of Bar Scenes and Martini Drinkers. His art has whimsical characters, such as fish and other wildlife, in juxtaposed scenes.

Jon Wolf has taken to the pavement, painting alfresco in the foggy streets of San Francisco. His colorful cityscapes really convey the energy of the city in which he lives. Commissions considered upon request.
